Power Companies 2010-2011 is a research driven power book of India’s Most Powerful and Admired Companies. REASEARCH PROCESS

The research to list the top Power Companies of India was conducted in two stages.

The Indian Council for Market Research (ICMR) in association with Power Brands 360 conducted a research on the top most listed companies in India in order to further nominate the most Powerful Companies. Based on the turnover of the listed companies the initial list of the top 500 companies of India was generated.

The second phase of the research was to pick up the most powerful companies based on the parameters of Legacy, Top of the mind awareness’ (TOMA), Admiration and Trust, Sustainability and stability and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) amongst industry leaders and decision makers. The initial list of 500 companies was exposed to them through a structured questionnaire by conducting one-on-one (personal in-depth) interviews. Based on the cumulative scores of these respondents the final list of companies was prepared.

The final phase of the research would be conducted amongst the participating companies based on their corporate ethics/policies and the desirability factor (i.e. employee satisfaction) in order to put down the final analysis.
